Football pro Mick Riley is an all-star, both on the field and in the bedroom. But a sexy, determinedly single mom just might be the one to throw him off his game…

For years Mick has been taking full advantage of the life available to a pro athlete: fame, fortune, and a different girl in every city. But when he meets and beds confident, beautiful event planner Tara Lincoln, he wants much more than the typical one-night stand. Too bad Tara’s not interested in getting to know football’s most notorious playboy any better.

As the single mother of a teenage son, the last thing Tara needs is the jet-set lifestyle of Mick Riley; even though their steamy and passionate one-night stand was unforgettable. Tara’s life is complicated enough without being thrust into the spotlight as Mick’s latest girl du jour. Tara played the game of love once and lost big, and she doesn’t intend to put herself out there again, especially with a heartbreaker like Mick.

But when Mick sets his mind to win, nothing will stop him. And he has the perfect play in mind.

The Cover itself is beautiful! I definitely don’t mind having a hunk on my bookshelf!

After previously attempting to read, and not getting very far before putting it down to not interested; I didn’t have very high expectations! Oh boy, was i wrong!

I don’t usually read sporty books (although i’m a big football fan) so i was pleasantly surprised by how much i enjoyed reading The Perfect Play! It was so captivating that once i’d got into it i couldn’t put it down until completion!

I’m a sucker for a good romance so this pushed a lot of buttons for me. Not only was it a great story-line but was steaming hot at times too.

The relationship that developed between Tara and Mick had me enthralled. Very well written in my opinion!

Not only is Mick a Pro-Star he’s also a down-to-earth family man! Yeah so he’d been a big player before meeting Tara but that’s what makes it all the more entertaining! What let me down was Mick always using previous women in comparison to Tara! Besides that it was a brilliant read for me!

Tara is a strong person. Not only has she turned her life around but she has also built a comfortable life for both her and her 14 year old son, Nathan.

I can’t wait to read changing the Game! Even if i found Elizabeth to be a B**ch, I want to know more about Gavin!
