Death brings some families closer, but it’s ripped mine apart. I wanted to convince the police that they had the wrong suspect…but I never expected them to start suspecting me. Now, I have no choice but to keep searching for the truth, even if all my relationships fall to pieces around me.

Someone is trying to make me look guilty. I never thought my mission to prove my own innocence would lead me to more family secrets. I thought I had already discovered the truth about myself. But every answer raises more questions, and everything I think I know is about to change…again.

I have to find the truth, no matter how much it hurts — before I get charged with murder.

At the end of Justice a girl from Sloane Academy, Laurel is murdered, River was arrested for her murder and Rain is determined to prove his innocence.

During her quest to find out the truth Rain discovers more secrets about her own life, she’s not sure what to believe anymore as what she’s told to be true turns out to be yet more lies.

I’m so glad I didn’t have to wait long to read ‘The Tower’ after finishing ‘Justice’. After being left at a cliffhanger I was eager to find out what happens next and I wasn’t disappointed.

Rain is an awesome character, she’s troubled yet determined to get the truth, even if it causes damage. Her loyalty towards River, one of her only friends at Sloane Academy is one of the best things I love about her. Her relationship with her brother Sawyer is confusing to say the least, but they are close, which cant be said about her sister. Carsyn is still a b**ch, and probably always will be. She’s so petty and full of herself although we do see a different side of her eventually.

There were so many twists and turns, each page brought something new to the story and I was surprised numerous times.

Overall I really enjoyed ‘The Tower’ as its a fun read with lots of drama.
